Overview
In-depth knowledge of Nine West Warehouse management system/Distribution system i.e. DMS, RF Application, MDC, Nordol purge system.
Involved in designing major modules for DMS/MDC system, which includes receiving, shipping, packing slips, ship labels applications using SDLC approach. The responsibility included defining/understanding business need from business users, conduct system analysis, coordinate manage development team, unit testing and to deliver a fully functional system.
Key resource in designing, developing and implementation of Nordol purge system - The system is subset of DMS application.
Played a key role in building road map for migration of distribution center legacy applications to modern technological platforms that includes migration from Oracle 8i to 10g, VB6 to VB.NET and certain other legacy applications.
Implemented complex views, procedures, functions, packages and triggers in PL/SQL.
Troubleshooted, fixed, and implemented bug fixes and enhancements within tight deadlines.

DMS - Distribution Management System–
The responsibilities includes understanding/managing the requirements from business users and provide design recommendations and custom solutions to meet various business needs, including major enhancements to existing systems using latest technology trends (SOA Architecture), using SDLC approach.
Developed back end interfaces using PL/SQL stored packages, procedures, functions, Collections, Object Types, triggers.
Technology migration - VB6 to VB.NET and Oracle 8i to Oracle 10g.
Designed forms for RF Handheld devices in ASP.NET to support barcode scanning and receiving/put away/shipping operations.
Created documentation for all aspects of the project including training the end users.
Involved in Maintenance/enhancement/Support of the application.
MDC – Multiple (warehouse) Distribution System–
Development of New screens/reports for adding capability in DMS to support another warehouse (MDC).

Nordol – Nine West Purge System–
Migrations of Nordol purge system from legacy platform to latest technical platform using client server architecture. Their platform used for development/migration is .NET (VB .NET/ASP.NET) and Oracle 10g(PL/SQL) as Database on Framework 3.5.
Designed interfaces to process the inbound data and prepared outbound interfaces for central system (order management system). This involves job automation and scheduling.
Reports were designed using Crystal report 11 using Oracle Native driver and ODBC driver.
Coordinated UAT/SIT with end user for acceptance.
Currently providing maintenance support for the application.
